Wmail's purpose is to bring all the features that Gmail has to offer to your desktop. You can access your Google inbox, and all the advantages that come with it, directly on your desktop, without opening a web browser. The software brings other features to the table as well, which you will definitely appreciate. Whenever you receive new emails, you can be on top of them right away.

Wmail is available as a freeware application, for Windows and Mac OS X. It comes in a small package and it can be installed in no time, without going through any complicated settings. Furthermore, the application's hardware requirements are modest and there is no need to install any prerequisite tools.

The initial setup for Wmail is quite easy. You can link the application to one or more mail boxes on the fly, without making any confusing POP and SMTP specifications. All you have to do is click a button and type in your Google login credentials on a separate window. All the necessary configurations are made automatically. Once you log into a Google account, all your emails and other features will appear on the application's desktop user interface.

When you link a mail box, you will find the same web-based user interface your are used to working with on a browser. As previously mentioned, the main advantage here is the possibility of accessing your emails right away, without opening a browser and going to Google. What's more, if you leave it working in the background, the application will notify you each time you receive new emails. Also, you can take a peak at the subjects of your emails, by right clicking Wmail's system tray icon, which changes colors if you have unread messages.

With Wmail working on your computer, you will be able to enjoy everything Gmail has to offer from the comfort of your desktop.

Pros

You can access your Gmail inbox on your desktop. The application can be linked to multiple accounts. Linking an account can be done on the fly. Also, the application can notify you when you receive new messages.

Cons

There are no serious issues to mention.
